Out of curiosity I just did a search for 35mm trailer prints on eBay, and most first results all were in scope, so I'm guessing it's not all that uncommon.
But I thought cops near spontaneously combust when they as much as touch fentanyl? 🤔 https://x.com/davenewworld_2/status/1641378811840274432

FUCK.
YOU.
Ok, here I go. I did enjoy "Stan & Ollie", but didn't like "Filth" all that much. And I'm gonna do my best to forget that I'm familiar with the actual story this film dramatizes.
Replying to @dosnostalgic
So far this is incredibly awkwardly written. But I am impressed with the quality of makeup used to turn Roger Allam into Robert Maxwell.

Блядь, это просто клюква дикая. 🤣

What the fuck is this movie turning into now? Lotd help me.
Replying to @dosnostalgic
I'm ready for it to be over.
Replying to @RealLordDalek
I'm actually quite surprised. I was ready for a fun over the top flick that had little to do with reality, but this film is inept in so many areas.
Replying to @TheLeggedOne
I was ready for the inaccuracies. I enjoy many films that are "based on a true story" but in reality are near complete fabrications (hello, A Beautiful Mind 👋), but this movie is sadly not good as it is.
Replying to @dosnostalgic
I don't mind inaccuracies. Hell, I enjoy plenty of films that are supposedly based on true stories that are in reality complete fabrications. But as far as depictions of Russia go, I now know how Turkish people must feel when they watch Midnight Express. 😂

Actually, no. This documentary features actual *first hand* accounts from most of the participants.

But even putting this aside, this movie is terribly written, and poorly structured. The biggest shame that the actual true story was wasted on this.
Replying to @dosnostalgic
I don't want to dissuade anyone from watching this film. I honestly was looking forward to some dumb fun. But personally I couldn't find it.

I'm actually most surprised that he was actually interviewed in this documentary. So you get to make up your impression yourself.

Then there's the Gaming Historian youtube video that crams in as much as possible.

Just one final LOL. I must stress this isn't why I disliked the film. Movies aren't documentaries. People who work on them often don't understand the tech. Storytelling must serve the drama. But still. 😂

No, it's about Henk Rogers.
Replying to @Bartzebest
Henk is Dutch-Indonesian
Replying to @gu_cr
When Henk in the movie sees Tetris for the first time he immediately asks "Is this written in Pascal or C?". This is a real thing that happens in the movie.
Replying to @DonKikon_Art and @TheLeggedOne
That's good. Everyone had different sensibilities that allow people to enjoy different things. I didn't in this case, but that doesn't mean no one else can.

It bugged me the whole movie! I was trying to place Egerton's American accent the entire way through and couldn't, but this is totally it! https://x.com/Llashloch/status/1642011307997052930
