It was made for a 2001 tv broadcast, so why would it be anything other than NTSC? I only did a brief comparison, but my theory does check out at least as far as new effects go (Walken's CG face on a double, + added blurring to the double in the finale, etc.). I bet wire removal 2
Replying to @leppie
Yes. It happens a bunch with HD transfers of tv shows from that time as well. Usually it's either deinterlaced upscales from SD (Firefly), or just brand new replacements (The X-Files). In this case it looks like it was just easier to redo them.

Yuri Shevhuck, the lyricist and composer of this song, is the only music performer to have been critical of Putin *right to his face*. That was in 2010.

My favorite song of his is "Spring, the actress". A song that he wrote for his wife after their first child was born. It was officially recorded after she died from cancer. It is sp hard to communicate what the lyrics are, because they are so abstract.

Mind you, in the 90s he traveled to Chechnya war zone, and is known for the tape where he interviews a brand new squad. Only *one* person from that squad had survived. Shevchuck and his band refused to perform in Yeltsin's re-election campaign, despite large sums of $ offered.

The most beautiful thing about Get Back is that you actually get to see the creative process. Repeatedly.
The most important thing about Get Back is that it absolutely destroys 50 years worth of well established (and often considered canonical) Beatles myths.

Such a big deal is always made of the "argument" George supposedly had with *insert Beatle here, but probably John*, but in reality it's nothing like what everyone described. That moment was absolutely crazy to see.
