The fucking opening scene scene alone is worth it. It's really creepy for a PG-13 studio horror movie, despite some borderline comical stuff, like Vincent D'Onofrio's Skype sessions. Cool detective story, etc. It just flows well, making it engaging.

Sure, I'm not saying that Sinister is great because of its budget, only that is a miracle that they pulled off a studio horror film for that kind of money. It Follows is probably my favorite horror flick of a decade, and REC was really good, but it helps that it is foreign.

I replay it every couple of years. One of the best adventure games from 98. The best bits r the first few levels, with the last couple being somewhat annoying, but the presentation and writing are stellar. It's on the easy side too, the hard part being the time it takes to walk.

Ok, played up to the 4th chapter of Paper Beast, and I love it. It's an extremely Eric Chahi games that combines all of the elements from his previous works. It's essentially a very good looking linear VR adventure game with (unnecessarily) complicated simulations.
