This center was a holdover from the Soviet times, so a lot of the machines were from the late 80s. No Carmageddon was happening. I did bring over a shareware version of DOOM on two floppies at one point, and played it with others over a Novell network. But it was mostly work.

The amout varies depending on how many people you're planning to serve. I'm making it just for myself, but several servings worth, so it's 2 potatoes & 3 eggs, and less than 1/2 lb of ham. I'll use small can of peas, and baby carrots instead of cooking a fresh one.

Cook potatoes, eggs, and a carrot. Cut all of the ingredients in small cubes comparable to peas in size. I suggest only using 2 or 3 smaller pickles, and to squeeze the juice out of them before cubing. Mix everything together in a container, cover, & leave in a fridge overnight.

Mix well with mayonnaise when serving. I prefer not to put too much, less than a spoonful for a standard bowl, but that's just me. Generally that aspect & amount of ingredients per potato varies according to everyone's taste, so you won't find a universal recipe.

I have never seen Dragon Ball Z, not now and definitely not then, and I didn't understand the language, but it didn't matter. The battle system was fairly easy to figure out by trial and error, and the gameplay was pretty engaging.

I have an incredible fondness for that game, because I've spent many months playing it, and it felt fresh and new at the time, but playing it now reveals just how incredibly antiquated it is. It's more annoying than fun.

As noted in the video description this music sounds much noisier on an actual MT-32 unit, while the Munt emulator produces clear sound. I must say that as an MT-32 owner I kind of miss the hissing. Imperfections and limitations of the hardware while annoying do give it character.

It is great to be back in the world of Half-Life, and actually feel like you're inside it. The sense of scale is immense. Striders you see in the first few minutes are intimidating. It really doesn't differ from many VR games, but you *feel* how polished the experience is.

The grabbity gloves work really well, it's much more fun than any other remote item controls I've seen in a VR game. I stick with a zoom teleporting motion because manual locomotion didn't feel great for me. There are about 5 different controls options to choose from.

The game is more survival horror than action, and horror in VR is fucking horrifying. The zombies are now more detailed and even more gross. I legitimately JUMPED when I encountered the first headcrab. The resource collection mechanic ensures that u interact with the world A LOT.

Loading screens. They are back! They are 3D, but their own entity, and that takes me out of the experience.

It still doesn't makes much sense. QB to QB64, yes, prefect, but otherwise it's easier to rewrite the GFX/SFX functions, and generally leave as much original choice as possible.
