It's too bad this movie bombed so badly. I was hoping for a buddy film revival.
Replying to @expectproblems
I'd gladly watch a sequel. The buddy dynamic was what made the film for me, it's rather unfortunate that the mystery plot was really weak.
Replying to @expectproblems
Yeah, but I really enjoyed the murder mystery in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, so my expectations were high.
Replying to @expectproblems
It was convoluted, but I didn't see the plot twist coming, and was entertained by how characters found the clues, which mostly wasn't by talking to people.
Replying to @expectproblems
I guess I just really like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. It helps that it's a bit of a deconstruction too.
Thanks to @expectproblems I'm now watching The Nice Guys instead of going to bed early.
Replying to @dosnostalgic
This is such a good looking movie. All that money spent on sets, CGI, and costumes to create these beautiful images of the 70s. Such a shame that no one saw it.
Replying to @dosnostalgic
Pity that no one wants to see Shane Black's movies unless they are Iron Man or Predator.
Replying to @expectproblems
Yes, when they are driving at night before seeing the billboard, it *has to be* CGI, but it looks so damn convincing.
Replying to @expectproblems
Maybe I need to buy it on blu-ray to see the bts stuff. I thought a lot of that was CG, which would explain a rather high budget for the genre.
Replying to @expectproblems
Oh my god, just got to the moment with the bee and it looks so good. The reflections of the surroundings in the bee's eyes 😂 I'm just so surprised a buddy movie had this level of quality of effects.
Replying to @expectproblems
Very Shane Black. Same with the Nixon story, except the payoff is kind of lame there.
Replying to @expectproblems
Yes, but I wish the callback to it later was stronger. Maybe Hot Fuzz spoiled me as far as double payoffs go.
Replying to @expectproblems
Hot Fuzz to me is the pinnacle in that respect. Every single moment sets up a callback later on. Simply amazing.

If you set your music to GM for an MT-32 game, ScummVM will automatically map appropriate instruments to GM. No need for Munt.

You might be confusing things a little. Munt doesn't have anything to do with GM cards at all.

Original format for this is 35mm film. Mitch better fidelity than we can currently reproduce in digital.
RT @ben_304: A nice way to spend a Sunday morning. ^_^
