High res VGA is not available due to memory, and I can speculate that EGA was out to keep things simple/cheap. Most post-PS/2 EGA games would detect an MCGA card & just use VGA with EGA palette.

Grey Goose is by far the best vodka I've had while living in the States. I think it's kind of expensive. But all the *more* expensive vodkas I've tried, none were as good as it, so it gets my choice. For mixed drinks it's not as important though.

DOS version only ever supports original Sound Blaster, so it does all the mixing in software, and had to lower the quality of the sample-based output 2 do that efficiently. Genesis/MegaDrive version uses FM synthesis, which is a different thing entirely from Amiga & DOS versions.

Evil Dead seems to be the last thing that needed touching up, yet they did it. The post-stamp moon is gone. The bad jump cut is gone. Matte shifting in the stop motion sequence is gone. Also some of it was done rather poorly. It's very upsetting.
