But, you know, not gonna happen. It's not worth the effort to do so, and gets them no money. *Potential* press/reaction isn't good enough.
We have a rather legendary example of a videogame vaporware surface. So that's quite something. A notable day of sorts.

Most of them are in Russian, yes. Scripting language documentation and some kind of a financial report are in English

It looks like you're right. All the design docs (all marked as v1.0) describe that version of the intro, and there are some...

Replying to @saltyhorse
I really don't like that intro. I like how the dude is more of a dick in the early one.
Replying to @saltyhorse
Could be. The animation is a not as wobbly as Animation Magic's.
Replying to @saltyhorse
The new style is better, but it's just bad as a piece of animation. Even visual composition. AMI's is great in that respect.

Another World is preserved rather well. By Chahi and his people. It's not going away. Also reverse engineered.
Replying to @LetsWindows10
What is this in response to?
Replying to @LetsWindows10
A lot of things *could* be done. But they aren't. Companies aren't gonna just start adjusting in this area, because customers
Replying to @LetsWindows10
don't care. We went past that age in movies. Yes, even the movie preservation isn't perfect, but it's miles ahead of people
Replying to @LetsWindows10
just throwing stuff in the garbage. Trust me, movie crews aren't always collectors either.
Replying to @LetsWindows10
Part of the reason why sketches, production photos, makeup appliances are preserved in the movie industry is not because
Replying to @LetsWindows10
some gaffer cares about them, but because the company can SELL them to you, by putting a blurb about it on the blu-ray.
Replying to @LetsWindows10
We stopped looking at film as something disposable, but with games, that's where we're at. They have a "shelf life".
Replying to @LetsWindows10
It will take both the people, and the businesses behind the industry to change it. And the industry maturing as a whole.
Replying to @LetsWindows10
And we're not really anywhere near that. It'll take a while. All I was trying to say is that we should know better.
Replying to @LetsWindows10
Absolutely.
