One of my favorite things about Woodruff and the Schnibble is the fact that a silly cartoon game turns out to be about racism & inequality.
Hell, it even touches on religion as an invention to control the masses.
If you get stuck in Woodruff, you can always get the official hint book for $829.88 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0871772515/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1402502610&sr=8-2

Question #2: Would you expect me to actually beat the game?
Replying to @AveTory
Yeah, except for when the same three actors don't fit the roles, like in Inca 2.
Replying to @AveTory
I would still need at least 3 hours. The game is looooong.

Yeah, they only ever worked well in Woodruff. Everything else is a disaster

it's not just "added". A lot of things are fixed. Rain cg'ed out/in. Harrison Ford's mouth replaced to match dialogue, etc.

Replying to @ben_304
Yes, original theatrical (both US & EU versions) has a studio tacked on happy ending.
Replying to @ben_304
It was a legendary troubled production & a mess of a post production that the studio controlled. Almost ruined the movie.

Replying to @AveTory and @TorbenFrost
Totally not what that movie is about, but I can kind of see where these people are coming from

Replying to @AveTory and @TorbenFrost

well, phonetically "rougelike" sounds close to a Russian word "rogalik". Not a bagel, but close.
Replying to @richardgoodness and @lucky_frame
Actually rogalik is more like a croissant, but I totally love "bagel". We should call them that.
RT @lucky_frame: Wonderfully, the google translation of the russian for “roguelike” is apparently “bagel”.

Of Hovertank being commercial. I know legally the new owner can do whatever he wants with it, but it should just be liberated.

Replying to @xavcz
Well, those are actual games, not 4 level tech demos done over a weekend.
Replying to @xavcz
I can say that about all Gamer's Edge titles, yes, but this one has very little value except for historical importance.
Replying to @xavcz
I would, for example, pay for a proper re-release of Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion ESPECIALLY if a level editor was included
Replying to @xavcz
But Hovertank loses it's novelty value on the second level & doesn't really have much else to offer.
Replying to @xavcz
I wouldn't pay for the original Catacomb 3D either. Now, later Catacomb games are different.
Replying to @xavcz

Since it's GPL now & TED's been available since forever, nothing is stopping anyone from modding it now.

Yeah, but it's just dosbox. I mean an actual port for modern platforms with extra features and such. I'd pay for that.
Replying to @xavcz
All I'm saying, these SoftDisk games have more gaming value than Catacomb 3D or Hovertank. These are just historical curiosities.
Replying to @xavcz
I highly doubt it.
Ok, here's a question: If Hovertank 3D was re-released commercially, would you pay for it?
Replying to @xavcz
Yes, historical significance. As games they are barely playable.
RT @ben_304: @dosnostalgic Yep.
