I always found this to be a better option. It's great to have your own framework that you've built & can rely on.
@lazygamereviews Dear sir, you wouldn't have any old Aztec Labs sound card drivers laying around by any chance, would you?
Replying to @lazygamereviews
I'm not sure which one I just pulled out of an old Packard Bell, but I'm trying to find drivers 4 it & failing miserably...

I shall do so... Tomorrow! I'm too shot tonight. Trying to put together a dos/win98 machine from salvaged parts.
It's now safe to turn off your computer.
My wonderful roommate decided to help out and pretty much did all the work for me. What a guy! http://bit.ly/kG8KJn

Very nice. One day I might have enough extra cash to recreate my 97 machine. Until then I'll make do with what I can find 4 free

I still think it's the most FUN game I played in while. Games feel like a second job way too often nowadays.
Replying to @AgustinCordes
Although I prefer good challenge (which is why I've always been in a Sierra camp during the whole Sierra vs Lucas Arts time)
Replying to @AgustinCordes
... I'm willing to let it go if the game is nothing but pure entertainment for me (Which all Valve titles are).
Replying to @AgustinCordes
And I find GladOs' crazy ex-girlfriend personality much more entertaining than pure evil like Shodan or whatshisname from...

... I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (on the side note - I gotta replay THAT game)
Replying to @AgustinCordes
That's right! Wow I gotta dig up my cd with that. I love SS 2 (first one not so much, I know - blasphemy), don't get me wrong

For some reason it's one of those classic games I don't really enjoy playing. Not my cup of tea I guess.
Replying to @mktsquarehero
I got myself a copy when it originally came out. A great title that was very much overlooked.
By my estimation as of 2005 I've played around 400 (commercial & free) adventure games. No wonder I barely play games anymore...
Replying to @gnomeslair
Done a few short ones back in the day & helped out with a couple. I can't write for shit, and my art is like a second grader's.
Replying to @gnomeslair
Nah, I suck at that too. Right now I wanna do a short adventure using a raycaster as an experiment and my mind is a blank.
Dear annual May depression. Please leave. Sincerely, Anatoly.
May the 4th be with you!

Oh god, Transformers 2. The audience applauded at the end of the screening that I went to. I needed a shower afterwards.
Sick. Staying in the whole day and recording footage from Duke Nukem 3D. It's been a while since I've tried to finish this game in 1 sitting
RT @theromero: Happy Cinco De Mayo, Happy Birthday Wolfenstein 3D (19 yrs) and Adrian Carmack! http://bit.ly/9SdJJO
Well, it looks like I owe $3000 in hospital bills. American health care at its finest. (FML)
Did not finish Duke3D yesterday. The rest of the day was spent recompressing 80 gigs of fraps captures. Oh well...
On my way to see @egorodet in NYC. It's been EIGHT years since I've seen him. Time sure flies...
I wish I had more days like today...
Let's see if I'm still employed by the end of the day...
A great interview with Eric Chahi about Another World's 20th anniversary. (in french) http://bit.ly/iE9GjX

Yes, same here. I absolutely loved and adored AW ever since I first saw the intro. My review here http://youtu.be/0H3y9cIzeBw

Heart of Darkness is an Eric Chahi game as well. And a damn good one too.
I guess I'm still employed. Well, at least I got two extra days off out of it.

Shogo is really good. Very underrated in my opinion.
Spent the evening saving my apartment from flooding, so now, instead of doing something productive, I'm just going to watch The Thing (1982)
Cart Life is absolutely amazing on so many levels! Trailer: http://youtu.be/lFxeU8swXUc Get it here: http://richardhofmeier.com/cartlife/
Need 2 play a good unknown raycaster game. Ive played A LOT of those so if you manage to throw an unfamiliar title @ me I'll be 4ever gr8ful

Believe me, young lady, it's the same for guys. If only I had a quarter... Acratch that, a penny for every time-blah-blah-bla
When I need to get some writing done, it never happens, no matter how hard I push. Some days i just sit down and it pours out. Like today!
Sunday morning. It's time to go to work...
Massive headache. Packing it in for the night. Off to watch "Fight Club".
How did I manage to play through the whole Duke3D without using a urinal?
Replying to @gnomeslair
OMG! I love the DOTT-style sprites of Maniac Mansion characters. The rest of it I'm somewhat skeptical about. I <3 Plan 9.
Replying to @fulviom
Well, me too back in the day, but when I was recording my playthough I must have forgotten. Duke has one helluva bladder!
Decided to grow a beard. Now I look like a lumberjack. It's time to say goodbye to it. Need to record a video to document the look.

Yes, the music is very much in the style of the game. I don't know why they didn't do the same for Gob2/3 & just remix the tunes
Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project is a very enjoyable game, although a bit repetitive. It's also a bit too easy... That was my review.
Replying to @IgorHardy
It's not a dos game :)
